How To Pick and Clean Arugula

Arugula’s season is an early spring, fall crop, but it is a favorite all year round. Before you bring it home make sure the leaves look fresh and green. Trim the stems and discard of any yellow or brittle leaves that tend to sneak in the bunch. Last but not least, rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove soil and dirty. Now it is ready to eat.
